1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, do the same job: they let a site remember something between pages or visits. Sites use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and, in some cases, show advertising.

In this policy, “cookies” means cookies and these similar technologies.

2. This website

This website, where you're reading this policy, is built to need as little as possible:

  • It doesn't set any cookies.
  • It doesn't use advertising, social media or cross-site tracking technologies.
  • It doesn't use analytics tools.
  • It doesn't load scripts, fonts or other files from third parties. Everything comes from our own domain.

3. What we store on your device

  • droplet-theme

    Type
    Local storage, set by us
    What it's for
Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It is saved only when you use the theme button.
    How long it lasts
Until you clear this site's data in your browser.

This is a preference you set yourself. It isn't used to track you and it never leaves your browser, and it is why this website doesn't show a cookie banner.

4. The Droplet application

When you sign in to the Droplet application, it uses a small number of first-party cookies and similar technologies that it needs to work:

  • Sign-in and session. These keep you signed in and tell us which workspace you're using. They last for your session, until you sign out, or for a limited period if you choose to stay signed in.
  • Security. These help protect your account and our systems, for example against forged requests and abuse.
  • Preferences. These remember settings you choose, such as your display options.

These are strictly necessary for the application to work, so they're set without asking for consent. If you block them you won't be able to sign in. We don't use advertising cookies in the application. If we add analytics or other optional cookies, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

5. Third-party cookies and links

This website doesn't set third-party cookies. It does link to other websites, and the services you connect to Droplet, such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Stripe, have their own cookie and privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.

6. How to manage cookies and local storage

You control what is stored on your device. Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies and local storage in their privacy or site settings, and you can usually set them to warn you before a site stores anything. If you clear the theme setting, this website goes back to its default dark theme.

Browser signals. This website doesn't track you across sites or sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. It behaves the same with or without them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. We'll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
